Update from the Chair:

At the request of FDP officials , we have agreed to change the effective dates of our resignations from March 1, 2010 to March 24, 2010, to facilitate the election of new officers.

We encourage all enrolled Democrats and DEC members to attend the joint Committee meeting scheduled for March 3, 2010.

The purpose of the meeting will be to find energetic and thoughtful volunteers willing to have their names submitted for nomination and to serve with the goal of the continuance of a strong DEC for the remaining one year terms of the vacated offices.

The Coastal Library annex meeeting room is reserved for March 3rd at 6:30 PM. for this meeting.

An election will be held on or before March 24, 2010, pursuant to timely notice to all.
