Stand With Sen. Nelson In The Fight Against Big Oil
The Senate Energy and Natural Resources committee caved to Big Oil, voting to allow oil drilling off Florida's coast. Sen. Nelson has vowed to fight the committee's decision, and we need to stand with him.
It's up to Floridians to fight back and stand against the tide of Big Oil's sticky, greasy campaign dollars flooding Congress in an effort to drill off Florida's coast.
Sign our letter to Sen. Nelson and urge him to fight the US Senate's recent effort to try and open our coasts to drilling. Together, we can back up Sen. Nelson and show the Congress that Floridians like you don't want drilling and are willing to speak out against Big Oil.

We know Big Oil and their cronies have spent many millions distorting the facts around oil drilling off Florida's coast. We witnessed the potentially devastating effects of this misinformation campaign when the Senate Energy and Natural Resources committee voted to open up Florida's coast to drilling. There are faster, cheaper, and cleaner alternatives to drilling including energy efficiency and renewable energy sources. As citizens throughout the great State of Florida, we urge you to do whatever it takes to protect our coast from Big Oil. Sincerely, |
